Halley Karlok, MS, RDN, LD (she/her/hers) is an anti-diet dietitian dedicated to guiding clients in healing their relationship with food and their bodies. Halley works to help clients develop a neutral view on both, while incorporating the enjoyment of food as an important aspect of nutrition. This is often done by encouraging clients to listen to internal cues about what, how much and when to eat, instead of external cues and judgements.
Halley has been working with clients who suffer from eating disorders and/or disordered eating since 2018 when she started at a residential eating disorder program as a diet technician. Halley began working with these clients as a registered dietitian nutritionist after completing her dietetic internship in 2021.
Halley believes that in addition to being how we fuel our bodies, food is also an avenue for us to find connection to family, friends, culture and ourselves. She collaborates with clients to help cultivate and enjoy these connections.
Halley Karlok completed her nutrition and dietetic education through the University of New Hampshire (BS in Nutrition and Dietetics) and the University of Maine (Dietetic Internship and MS in Food Science and Human Nutrition). She has professional affiliations with Eating Disorder Registered Dietitians & Professionals (EDRDPro) and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Behavioral Health Nutrition practice group.
When Halley is not working with clients, she enjoys spending time with her family outside, trying local restaurants, playing recreational volleyball in the back yard, four wheeling and creating delicious (most of the time) food in the kitchen.
Halley sees clients in North Conway and virtually.

She recharges by spending time outdoors—preferably laying in the sun, where she swears she’s at least part photosynthesizer. She also loves being with her family and friends, who remind her that connection is just as nourishing as food.
